Juice Talks 003 with Eric Tuma Britton

Juice Talks 003 took place on April 13, 2023 at the monthly Juice Film Night at The Waterfront with host Juice Dan Levy and special guest Eric “Tuma” Britton and music and art by Artonika.

Carrying on the tradition of talk story, Juice Talks features special guests talking about lifetimes of surfing, skateboarding, music and art at a live show each month in Venice Beach, California at The Waterfront, located at 205 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291.

Tuma talked about growing up in Venice Beach, getting his first skateboard, skating the Venice Pavilion, the influence of Venice on the world, being a pro skater, teaching kids to skate, being a mentor to Olympic skateboarders, hosting Juice New Live, having a son that skates, working on a new project about Venice, and dreaming of a skate camp for all the groms.

At 6pm, Juice Dan Levy, Juice Magazine Managing Editor and Creative Director, gave the first 30 guests a special gift of a limited edition print featuring Jesse Martinez autographed by Juice Dan Levy at our Juice Punk Rock Skate Poster, Prints and Zine shop, where you were also able to find rare collectible back issues of Juice Magazine.

At 7pm, Artronika kicked off the night with live painting by Norton Wisdom, creating ephemeral watercolor paintings on a fiberglass canvas, as Ireesh Lal played an eclectic set of world music while improvising on trumpet and synths. Norton Wisdom and Ireesh Lal perform with various bands, and tour the USA as well as maintaining a residency in Los Angeles.
