The spots in the vid are new and most unseen before. The soundtrack fits the vibe of the skating and with many creative transitions between sequences, the editor kept you interested in seeing more. The premiere was held at the new Jim Reis -built wooden wonderland – Vertical Urge in Raleigh, NC. Bob Reynolds (formerly of Endless Grind) hosted the night and had to provide two showings due to the great turn out. After the screenings, the session was on and there was some serious ripping happening. In the back, the bowl was going off and the street course hosted some gnarly collisons along with some amazing runs. This premiere had no limos out front and no attitudes either. Kids drove from hours away to show support for their friends and everyone was just down for skateboarding. Keep an eye out for this video. It is packed with raw East Coast skateboarding and many of the skaters are well on the way to becoming the next pros. Props goes out to the staff at Vertical Urge for hosting a great premiere. Over 300 kids crammed their way into Project 58 for the double showing. The parking lot was packed with the overflow and the session outside was just as hot as the one inside. Cops and skateboarders are like oil and water. No mix. There was no stopping the skateboarding though. The cops were out numbered and there was no way to chase everyone down – pure chaos. A great party and a great video!
