The IASC 2015 Skateboarding Hall of Fame Inductions have been announced and the list is filled with deserving recipients. With the popularity of skateboarding at an all-time high, the majority of the accolades usually received revolve around large sums of money and TV time, so it’s hard to find a definitive appreciation of skateboarding’s pioneers and heroes. There is an honor that is bestowed by a jury of peers that a price tag won’t fit on and this is the coveted Skateboarding Hall Of Fame trophy. This year’s inductees are some of skateboarding’s most innovative, outspoken, stylish, inspiring, ground-breaking and celebrated warriors ever to ride, joining a motley list of previous inductees who not only created but defined modern skateboarding as we know it today. Check out the list of inductees below.
Ballots went out to nearly 400 qualified representatives from all eras of skateboarding history to vote for their choice for the Class of 2015 Skateboarding Hall of Fame inductions. Here are the results after a week of vote collection.
