“My Damage: The Story of a Punk Rock Survivor” by Keith Morris

Keith Morris has a new book “My Damage: The Story of a Punk Rock Survivor” coming out Sept 1st, from Da Capo Press, which is a must read, fast and furious stomp down the dark and dirty alley of memory lane of punk rock history, as only Keith could tell it… We met up with Morty and Jeff Ho to get the story for the next edition of Juice Magazine. Thanks Keith and Jeff for an epic 3 hour interview! Pure 100% integrity.

Check out FLAG as they tour through Europe and beyond this summer with OGs: Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Dez Cadena, Bill Stevenson, with Stephen Egerton performing the music of Black Flag.

Keith Morris is a co-founding member of Black Flag, the most recognizable name in West Coast punk, and the Circle Jerks, which cemented his reputation at the forefront of hardcore vocalists. He has recorded over 15 albums, appeared on countless albums and compilations, and has a half-dozen film credits to his name. The intensity of the music produced by his latest bands OFF! and FLAG are equal to his best work from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, and add to a legendary career that is still being carved out one gig at a time.

Well, it’s like this. I just saw a CJ vid from ’84, and it looked liked Keith had a missing front tooth. I ordered Keith’s auto-biog. And the story about Keith’s fucked up front tooth BETTER be in the book. Got it?
