The 9th installment of this 60+  artist music festival in downtown Los Angeles, which now expands to two days. This year’s festival will feature large national touring acts and an amazing mix of bands from indie-rock to punk and electronic. Over the years some of the bands that have played are The Descendents, the Rapture, Sleep, Broken Social Scene, Glass Candy, Girls, Explosions in the Sky, thee Oh Sees, Death From Above, Silversun Pickups, Jay Reatard, Deerhunter and many more. Admission to last year’s event was only $35.00 for 12 hours of programming. FYF makes it a goal to keep admission prices affordable for the entire community.
