We’ve all witnessed the rapid degradation of innovation in the musicality sector which in large part is due to the axing of crucial areas that ferment creativity. CBGB was one of those places and according to the New York Times, could get a proper resurrection some day in the not so distant future. Investors, with lighter experience than some, plan to establish a music festival beginning summer 2012 with their goal being to reopen the infamous club. Thus far the club is planned for a new location in Lower Manhattan. While there is no way for them to recreate what CBGB was this is a ray of new hope for the music scene in NYC.
