That’s Panics and Wallos now? It looks wrecked. We used to skate Panics when it was clean, white and still looked like it had evidence of being recently constructed back in the spring of 78. It even smelled like recently poured concrete. Nobody but us was skating it at the time. That drain hole the guy goes over? That was our spot, and we’d yell “Shogo Kubo” when you made it over the hole. Only because Shogo was new in the mags at the time, and he had a funny name. Eventually we made it down to Wallos and even then, nobody was skating the place anymore. After Kaimuki Intermediate School sessions. Each corner of the “waterfalls” of Wallos had a name – Water Bowl, Tube Bowl, etc. Can’t remember the names anymore. Wallos – may you Rest In Peace.
