{"id":98197,"date":"2025-04-12T16:08:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-12T23:08:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/juicemagazine.com\/home\/?p=98197"},"modified":"2025-05-20T10:01:51","modified_gmt":"2025-05-20T17:01:51","slug":"across-america-1st-west-coast-screening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juicemagazine.com\/home\/across-america-1st-west-coast-screening\/","title":{"rendered":"Across America 1st West Coast Screening"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Guinness World Record-holding skateboarder and author <strong>Chad Caruso<\/strong> will visit The Venice Waterfront on Thursday, May 1st, 5-10PM, for the first West Coast screening of his award-winning documentary, <em>Across America<\/em>, and to promote his highly anticipated photo book, <em>Pushing Through America<\/em> \u2013 featuring a foreword by skateboarding legend <strong>Tony Hawk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The documentary, <em>Across America<\/em>, directed by filmmaker <strong>John Testa<\/strong>, provides a deeper look into Caruso\u2019s passion for skateboarding and human connection.&nbsp;The film captures intimate moments from Caruso\u2019s grueling daily push of more than 50 miles, weaving together his personal point of view with cinematic footage of his historic achievement. <strong>The screening will take place Thursday May 1st at The Venice Waterfront.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Venice is where this whole thing started, so getting to finally premiere the film here feels long overdue. Once he got there, he jubilantly flipped his board into the ocean.&#8221; said <strong>Guinness World Records.<\/strong> He also landed 50 tricks in 50 states and received a Guinness World Record for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tony Hawk<\/strong>&nbsp;has endorsed&nbsp;<em><strong>Pushing Through America<\/strong><\/em>, connecting deeply with Caruso&#8217;s determination.
