Get ready for SOMOS LOCOS<\/strong><\/a>, an art, music, surf and skate extravaganza\u00a0at Manhattan Beach Art Center, set for\u00a0March 18, 2017, featuring new works by the\u00a0California Locos<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0five pioneering L.A. artists,\u00a0John Van Hamersveld<\/strong><\/a>, Chaz Bojorquez<\/a>, Norton Wisdom<\/a>, Dave Tourje <\/a><\/strong>and Gary Wong<\/strong><\/a>. We will be celebrating the Manhattan Beach Skatepark opening at 1pm with live music at 3pm with eclectic blues provocateurs Los Savages<\/strong><\/a>. and the phenomenal\u00a0Charlie Chan and the S.O.B.s<\/strong><\/a> fronted by the one and only Gary Wong, plus a mind-bending set by skate legend, Steve Alba<\/strong><\/a> and electric gumbo powerhouse, Powerflex 5<\/strong><\/a>, The\u00a0SOMOS LOCOS<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>art show, presented by the Manhattan Beach Art Center will begin at\u00a06pm and will also celebrate\u00a0the launch of a new rendition of Dusters California Locos<\/strong> skateboards<\/strong><\/a> for 2017, as well as a signing of the highly-anticipated release of\u00a0a new hard cover edition book:\u00a0SOMOS LOCOS<\/a>\u00a0– The Story of the California Locos<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>with essays by Shana Nys Dambrot<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0G. James Daichendt<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Charlotte Eyerman<\/a><\/strong>. Please join us for\u00a0a\u00a0spectacular\u00a0night filled with exceptional art, music and surf\/skate culture as we also celebrate the opening of the new Manhattan Beach Skatepark.<\/p>\n
