Forget about all the clich\u00e9s, Italy is not just good food, beautiful girls and football\u00a0players. On the shores of the Adriatic coast, in the little village of Fano, the father of young\u00a0rider, Nicola Vitali, has created his own version of the combi bowl, under the wing of Mark “Red” Scott from Dreamland Skateparks, and a lot of local skaters.\u00a0That\u2019s where the annual Bowlmania contest organized by the Italian brand, Murder,\u00a0took place on May 21st and 22nd.<\/p>\n
Along with two Italian MC\u2019s, the Captain Jairock from Spain kept the crowd on their\u00a0feet with his antics. You can\u2019t find a better entertainer!\u00a024 skaters competed on a hot afternoon. This bowl has great lines and it took no time\u00a0for the skaters to find the lines and the level of skating was off the hook.<\/p>\n
The winner had a nice practice session at the real combi in California the week before, so no one\u00a0was surprised to see Ivan Federico getting first place.\u00a0Second was Tyler Etdmyer, a 15-year-old ripper, half American\/half German, who\u00a0kept the pace and seemed to have more and more energy as time passed.\u00a0Third was the young phenom, Alessandro Mazzara, a 12-year-old from Roma. You will\u00a0be seeing him again and again soon! Fourth place we Jaime “La Bestia” Mateu from Spain.
