Yeeah! And it\u2019s about time.We\u2019re longtime fans and while we\u2019ve admittedly squirmed at some of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thedwarves.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/audio\/BloodGutsPussy.jpg\"><span class=\"s2\">their record covers<\/span><\/a>\u00a0over the years, that\u2019s part of what makes\u00a0<b>THE DWARVES<\/b>\u00a0the \u201cmotherfucking rock legends\u201d that they are. Plus, you know,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/recessrecords.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-dwarves-invented-rock-n-roll\"><span class=\"s2\">they invented rock \u2018n\u2019 roll<\/span><\/a>! You know what to expect: high velocity punk rock \u2018n\u2019 roll with loads of hooks, visceral cover art and raucous live shows. So of course we wanted to work with them! A handshake deal was struck at a Bl\u2019ast! show and the result of this summit of world powers is the four-song blast,\u00a0<i>Gentleman Blag<\/i>. Due out January 13th, the EP features a rare cover appearance from lead vocalist Blag Jesus, alongside the cover models you\u2019d expect. But you\u2019re going to have to wait until you get this limited edition slab of wax in your hands to discover the equal opportunity ideals on display when you turn this sucker over\u2026 if you dare! Like the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/store.recessrecords.com\/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;products_id=1371&amp;zenid=qfk6aue7h6lroeop84lsldkv02\"><span class=\"s2\">recent album on Recess Records<\/span><\/a>,<i>Gentleman Blag<\/i>\u00a0was recorded by Andy Carpenter at Brand Bjork\u2019s (Kyuss) studio and features guest vocals by Dexter Holland (Offspring) and Rex Everything a.k.a. Nick Oliveri! And, coming full circle, the recording features\u00a0ALL\u00a0the\u00a0<b>DWARVES<\/b>, including He WhoCannotBeNamed and Salt Peter from the original lineup. And now, a brief quote from the man himself, Blag Jesus:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u2018The song \u201cKings of the World\u201d reminded me of that Fat Wreck Chords sound-straightforward punk, big harmonies and lyrics about social issues. In other words, it was just the opposite of \u201cGentleman Blag,\u201d which is about how big my cock is.
