Created for unsponsored bowl skaters to show their skills, Z-Flex put on the competition to give each entrant the shot at a grand prize of one year flow sponsorship on Z-Flex.<\/p>\n Warm-ups and registration started at 10 am and by 12:30 the 40 slots in the competition were full with hungry bowl skaters from as far away as the United Kingdom. The Z-Flex team, along with numerous legends from the Venice skate scene from past generations, were on hand to set up, skate and judge the event. The 40 riders were cut to eight finalists and during an intense finals heat, Andrew Miller (Scottsdale, AZ), Spacoli (Albuquerque, NM), and Andrew Wallace (Houston, TX) emerged as the top three.<\/p>\n The bleachers were packed and crowds flooded around the bowl to cheer on each finalist. Coming out in front, and taking home the Z-Flex flow sponsorship (along with loads of other prizes from our sponsors), was the winner,\u00a0Andrew Wallace.
