\nToday Hurley announced a new national surf tour for kids, aimed at bringing excitement and energy into beach communities this summer.<\/p>\n

With the help of Hurley athletes like Rob Machado, Lakey Peterson, Carissa Moore and Conner Coffin, the “Surf and Enjoy” Tour will make 27 stops \u2013 from California to the Eastern U.S. to Hawaii \u2013 hosting free surf events for kids 18 and under.<\/p>\n

“Surf and Enjoy is what Hurley is all about,\u201d said Hurley Marketing and Events Manager, Phil Bannan. \u201cEmphasis on fun, growing the sport of surfing, and bringing the joy of surfing to kids around the world. Our goal is to breathe that mantra into communities from coast to coast.”<\/p>\n

The tour events are all fun, no pressure \u2013 beginner to expert. Newbies can get pushed into waves by professional surfers, while those with more experience get a chance to compete.<\/p>\n

Surf and Enjoy will run May 4 to August 9, with the help from sponsors FlexFit, Honda, Dragon, Futures, Bubblegum Surf Wax, Waterman’s, Rev’d, Obertos, Suja and Peace Tea. Snacks, sunscreen, goodie bags and prizes will be on hand for all participants.<\/p>\n
