The worldwide release party and exhibition for the book will take place on Saturday June 9 in Berlin at the DAZ (Deutsches Architektur Zentrum).<\/p>\n<p>The release event for this limited edition publication will feature a mix of films, photographs, DJs, and a Q&#038;A with members of the Skateistan team, including book contributors and the NGO&#8217;s Founder\/Director Oliver Percovich. The exhibition will also be open the following day (Sunday) from 10am to 6pm.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the press and the public are welcome to join Skateistan in celebrating the release of the book. Any questions or requests can be sent to <a href=\"mailto:media@skateistan.org\" target=\"_blank\">media@skateistan.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Book:<\/strong><br \/>\nSkateistan: The Tale of Skateboarding in Afghanistan shares the strange and beautiful intersection of traditional Afghan society and a new generation of Afghan skateboarders and artists.
