That’s right folks, right after I signed the lease for one more year, and we gave the ramp Facelift # 5 and a fresh coat of paint, Boulder County has decided to shut us down. The skatepark, lights, trash pile, vehicles, parties and skate-meets as they call them, all must stop by July 6th or I get large fines that compile daily until I comply. Happy Birthday America…in the land where McDonalds has a skateboard as their logo, where Tony Hawk is more popular than Michael Jordan….<\/p>\n

The dumpster arrived today for all the trash, I need a lot of help, so all you maggots that never paid a red cent to help out with this project over the last 5 years, should pay your dues to the SkateGods and help out. The second dumpster for the ramp arrives July 8th for the rest of the structure. So while everyone’s out celebrating July 4th, my vacation plans have been cancelled, I’ll be here, wearing Black…. tearing down one of the best places to ever skate in Colorado. If you would like to participate, please feel free to call me at 720-276-2474 or email me. We only have until the 6th of July to skate legally so come and get your licks and pics. We need chainsaws, sawzaws, muscle, bandaids, alotta BEER, chics, food, and whatever else it takes to tear down a ramp the size of the house! There will be a HUGE party, art show, photogallery, dvd premier, WAKE, and a coffin… after it’s all said and done, perhaps at the Darkhorse again.
