The International Association Of Skateboard Companies decided to put together an awards show to honor a variety of skateboard historical figures and participants who they deemed worthy of an award. This was the first year of what was announced to be an annual event and none other than C.R. Stecyk III, Stacy Peralta, Bob Burnquist, Eric Koston, and Patti McGee received honors. It was a night of elbow rubbing and good times with some of the skateboarding industry’s most elite members.<\/p>\n
