Words won’t even come close to describing how saddened we are by the news of the passing of one of our dearest friends. Last night, Jay passed away from a massive heart attack while on a vacation in Mexico with his wife, Tracy, after surfing some great waves with good friends. Jay Adams RIP.

Here are just a few photos of Jay that we wanted to share. If you’d like participate in a tribute to Jay Adams, please feel free to email us your photos and comments and stories about Jay to JUICEMAGAZINE@GMAIL.COM. Thank you. In the words of Jay Adams, “SK84LIFE…”

  4. A great soul is now watching over us now. He may not be here with us in this world but his spirit will always live on. Lets make him proud of all the influence he gave us in this world. Legends Never Die.

  5. Jay…we are losing our people. Those of us born in the 60s…
You were one of “our people.” You were and remain very very important to me.
I usually end up meeting most of “my people”…”my heros.”
I’m genuinely sad that I never got to meet you.
You were such a hot little shit in the 70s man. Maybe we’ll meet someday.
