This new book, CALIFORNIA LOCOS, sponsored by Mat Gleason and Coagula Curatorial, has been released as an online e-book. Designed by Andres Cuervo and containing essays by the esteemed curator and critic, Michelle Deziel and Shana Nys Dambrot respectively, the 108-page book chronicles the origins and undertakings of the LOCOS, comprised of artists: Chaz Bojorquez, Dave Tourjé, John Van Hamersveld, Norton Wisdom and Gary Wong. It contains photographs by Gusmano Cesaretti, Andrés Cuervo, Henry Diltz, Gary Leonard, Daniel Lir, Regina Pagles, Osceola Refetoff, Kevin Regan, Em Sedano, Allison Stewart and John Van Hamersveld. The book was designed in conjunction with the LOCOS participation in Art Basel Miami with Coagula Curatorial in December of 2014. A hard-copy book and poster signing is planned for later this Spring.
