HOLLYWOOD NEWS - The Hollywood team is trying to squeeze a few last minute tricks for the upcoming promo video - "Smoke Break". Starring - Don Nguyen, Dorian Tucker, Justin Roy, Charlie Thomas, DJ Chavez, James Atkin, and new acquisition Lizard. After placing 9th at the Phoenix am contest and killing every spot on a recent film trip to Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Salt Lake City, Lizard's flow status was bumped up to the real deal. Keep an eye on this cat, he's reeeeaally good! After nearly a year of been injured Don Nguyen is back skating and is currently filming everyday for "THE Lords of Dogtown " movie in which he plays Shogo Kubu - not only skating pool is the shortest 70's nut huggers you can find and his own trailer! Not to mention his scalp fused hair extensions. The Nuge's hair is really long. Keep your eyes peeled for a new Hollywood website - with a teaser trailer for "Smoke Break ".

FOUNDATION NEWS - Gareth And Duffel flew to France for more That's Life premiers and they both get arrested after a fight broke out in a local pub. Someone had to comment on their flair and Corey and Gareth both commented back with a couple punches and kicks to the mallet. To celebrate Foundation's 15 years of skateboarding chaos, Foundation is putting together all its classic videos into one easy to access DVD box set. Which will be ready in time for the holidays.

DEKLINE NEWS - Melcher is Back from Europe and on the road to Texas with Black Label Teammate Ragdoll and later in the summer doing a US Summer tour. Ben is back in Birmingham and eyeing a few local spots (sent us Photo's) that are just insane. The "Barbarian" has some battles ahead. Cyril has been skating the LA, Long Beach area with all kinds of heads shooting photo's & filming. Keep your eye's peeled. Dekline Flow Rider's Sammy Baca & Josh Perkins have been skating like crazy traveling all over the US. Perkins from Capenedick Maine started his US travels in Arizona hitting up the Phoenix Am landing 7th place after qualifying 1st in the "eliminator" round. Great Job Josh! From there he hit up Los Angeles and then is currently working his way back east.

Picture the surfboards stacked upright in the sand, music drifting over from the nearby outdoor amphitheater and the hottest bikini ands board-shorts youíve seen on any beach. The event, which runs from July 24 through August 1, is one of the most prestigious surf competitions in the world with some 500 top athletes competing for the $175,000 purse. This yearís competition is expected to attract more than 300,000 spectators over its nine-day run. Kelly Slater and other top professionals will make appearances and some will take part in daily autograph signings. Some other names you should know are Cory Lopez, Rochelle Ballard and Rob Machado will be there, too. No other city can boast it is home to the International Surfing Museum, which hosts free concerts on summer Sundays featuring authentic surf bands. During the U.S. Open, a concert is scheduled for Sunday, July 25, for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Huntington Beach also is the site of the Surfersí Walk of Fame, where the names of surfing legends are etched into granite stones embedded in the sidewalk outside Jack's Surfboards like the celebrated Walk of Fame in Hollywood. This year's new inductees will be unveiled during a ceremony on July 29 at 10 a.m. Across the street, at rival surf shop Huntington Surf & Sport, the Surfers' Hall of Fame is where surf legends' hand and footprints are preserved in concrete tiles. Watch as new inductees -- Mark Occhilupo, Gerry Lopez, Peter Townend, Jericho Poppler and Jack Haley -- become immortalized during a ceremony at 10 a.m. on July 30. During the U.S. Open, spectators can walk down the beach to the Soul Bowl to watch 100 other athletes compete for $50,000 in skateboarding, BMX bike and beach volleyball competitions in the Bank of the West Beach Games. The week-long festival will also feature the TransWorld Surf Village, Honda Base Camp, Philips Vortex, PlayStation Gaming Lounge and Paul Mitchell ìCut-A-Thon.î There will be dance contests, DJs, guest emcees and prize giveaways. Live outdoor concerts are planned for the Bank of the West concert stage from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The event will be broadcast on Fusion TV to air on Fox Sports Net. No tickets are needed for these events, which are free to the public. Surf film buffs will enjoy the Surf Film Festival, a three-day extravaganza of the best in this genre held to coincide with the U.S. Open of Surfing competition on July 28 -30 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Mann Pierside 6 Cinemas in downtown Huntington Beach. The first weekend in August brings ESPN to town for the 10th Annual X Games on Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The X Games event features a new surf team contest created by local surfer Brad Gerlach. ZERO G SKATEPARKS - Zero G Sports and Entertainment, Inc. is working with the Simon Property Group (the largest mall developer an operator in North America), and developing premier action sports centers to be located throughout the country. The first three facilities are located in major malls in Phoenix, Atlanta, and San Antonio.
