Press Release:

SAN CLEMENTE, CA – The cast of the 1987 Hollywood surf film, North Shore, will re-unite for the first time in over 25 years for a special screening of the film this Friday July 25th at Surfing Heritage and Culture Center (SHACC). The film will roll shortly after 7:00 pm, with a question and answer session with the cast to follow.

According to SHACC, the principal cast members are scheduled to be present, including Gregory Harrison, Gerry Lopez, John Philbin, Matt Adler and Nia Peeples. Also joining in the reunion will be the film’s Director, William Phelps, and producer, Randall Kleiser.

Now a cult classic in the surfing community, North Shore spins a tangled tale about Rick Kane, a fictional wave pool surfer from Arizona (played by Matt Adler), who travels to the North Shore of Oahu to see if he has what it takes to become a pro surfer.

Tickets were still available at press time, but the event is expected to sell out very quickly. Admission is $25 for SHACC members, and $30 for non-members. For ticket information, please call (949) 388-0313 ext. 0. SHACC is located at 110 Calle Iglesia, San Clemente, California.
