Seven Adams Trip

Seven Adams Trip.

October 24-26, 2014

Photos by Dan Levy, Annabelle Morlett and Steve Moreno

Jay Adams’ son, Seven, arrived in Venice to visit and attend the Jay Adams Photo Tribute show, and it was a non-stop, fun-filled weekend, as we traveled around SoCal to spend time with friends and family. As Seven’s surf/skate/life adventures continue, it’s good to know that he has the entire community backing him, and paying tribute to Jay Adams into the future. Jay Boy R.I.P.

JP Olson, Jennie Cotterill, Craig Stecyk and the Hurley crew were nice enough to take time from the chaos of getting ready for the Hurley/Fender Strat fundraiser to give us a tour of Hurley HQ and Stecyk gave Seven one of his photos of Jay that he had made into this iconic poster for the Jay Adams Tribute Photo Show in Venice. Jeff Ho, Seven Adams at Bicknell Hill
Jeff Ho came by to visit with Seven and Annabelle and we decided that a trip to Bicknell hill would be in order. When we got there, it was as if we had stepped back in time, as we approached the hill to find that the cones were already set up to ride. Seven pays tribute to his dad in the best way possible. Seven Adams and Jeff Ho
It was great to see Seven having such a good time as Jeff Ho stares out into the ocean to the spot where he first met Jay Adams. After sharing some of his memories of Jay and making us laugh with his Z-Boys stories, Jeff Ho continued in his tradition of mentoring the next generations of rippers by giving Seven a Zephyr t-shirt and Zephyr Surf Team hat. It was an amazing day on the hill at Bicknell. Photo by Dan Levy
