RIP Bob Casale

RIP Bob Casale

We would like to take a moment and pay our respects to Bob Casale and all that loved him. More than just a musician, Robert Edward Casale or Bob 2, as he was known, was innovative, creative, an artist, a guitarist, a keyboardist, a vocalist, a sound engineer, a husband, a father and a great person who brought so many people joy in being different through the art of music. He and his former bandmates in Devo did not feel the need to conform their music, appearance and attitudes to the times that they were living in. They achieved mainstream success and proved that you can be yourself and do things your own way and still be successful musically. The “Freedom of Choice” is a great thing. Bob was an inspiration to a lot of different types of people including skateboarders, artists, musicians, nerds and weirdos and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Bob 2.

RIP Bob Casale

The one and only Devo.
