RED BULL MANNY MANIA ROLLS INTO ORANGE COUNTY
Started in 2007 as the first-ever professional manual contest, this year the stakes are higher than ever because Red Bull Manny Mania is going global. The Red Bull Manny Mania West Coast Qualifier in Orange County showcased the best manual combos from Amateur competitors local to sunny SoCal. The event was emceed by The Captain and Casey of Fuel TV’s ‘The Captain and Casey Show’ and was judged by Skateboarder Magazine Editor, Jaime Owens, Red Bull Skateboarding Team Manager, Peter Jasienski, and Pro Skateboarder. The top competitor of the West Coast Qualifier won an all-expenses paid trip to Woodward East to compete in the National Finals against the winners of other stateside qualifiers. The winner from Woodward will then move on to represent the U.S. at the Red Bull Manny Mania World Final for amateurs in New York against the top skaters from 32 countries. The winner of the World Final will then have a chance to step into the big leagues as he will earn a spot in the invite-only Red Bull Manny Mania Pro Event. Other 2010 Red Bull Manny Mania U.S. Qualifiers will take place in Orlando, FL; Providence, RI; Long Island, NY; Rochester, NY; Charlotte, NC; Washington D.C., Salt Lake City, UT; Detroit, MI; Hoboken, NJ; Hartford, CT; and St. Louis, MO.
