My Knees Hurt Teaser #2

My Knees Hurt Teaser

Check out the sneak peak for the new skate video My Knees Hurt.

From Producer/Editor/Photographer Ben Rupp:

“You didn’t quit skateboarding because you got old, you got old because you quit skateboarding”. This is the key sentiment that I will be pursuing with this documentary. Showing men and women well past the squares’ stereotype of what is a skateboarder ….they are husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, professionals, legends. I hope to tell their stores and explore why many of us returned to skateboarding, or never left. I will tell their stories, don’t expect a typical skateboard movie with trick after trick…(I know the teaser is misleading in this regard).

I have no deadline, and will not commit to one at this point, I would rather do this right. Holding down a day (or night to be more accurate) job gets in the way of film making. I expect to shoot through the summer then hopefully having something concrete next winter. I will be releasing teasers as I progress so stay tuned.

Featured in this teaser in order of appearance are … Chris Strople, Jeff Greenwood, Dan Hughes, Wally Inouye, Dave Kramer, Metal Mark Holt, Jeff Ament, Tim Hayes, Brice Niebuhr, Swervo Betten, Eugne Lardizabal, Oliver Tiu and Gabe Hall.

Produced, Edited, Title Design, Photography, Audio Recording/MIxing, Concusions by Ben Rupp.
Additional photography by Matt Scholz and Ben Niles.
