King of the Groms Events

King of the Groms/Ams events in 2015.

Feb 13-15, 2015 @ The Skatelab, 4226 Valley Fair St, Simi Valley, CA

May 8-10, 2015 @ Skatepark of Tampa, 4215 E Columbus Dr, Tampa, FL

July 16-19, 2015 @ 3rd Lair, 850 Florida Ave S, Golden Valley, MN

All three events are open entry so there is no need to pre-qualify. Riders are encouraged to participate in as many of the stops as they can make it to. If you finish in the top 3 of your division/event at the East Coast or West Coast championships, you will go straight to finals at the National Championships.

Registration for the 2015 King of the Groms/Ams events is now officially open.

Divisions:

9 & Under

12 & Under

14 and Under

16 and Under

Age Eligibility – Eligibility is based on your age as of Jan 1, 2015

Street

Qualifiers – Riders will be put into heats of 2-3 riders.  Each heat will run as a 3 minute jam where each rider will be scored individually.

*If there are 6 or less riders registered, all riders will Skate in Finals

*If there are 7 – 10 riders registered, top 5 will Go to Finals

*If there are 11 – 15 Riders Registered, top 7 will go to Finals

*If there are 16+ riders registered, top 10 will go to Finals

Finals – Each rider will receive two, 1-Minute Runs

*The Better of the two runs will count as the rider’s final score

*In the Case of a tie we will use the rider’s lower scored run to break the tie.

Mini Ramp & Bowl

Qualifiers – Riders will be put into heats of 3 – 5 riders.  Each heat will run as a 5 minute ordered jam where each rider will be scored individually.

*If there are 6 or less riders registered, all riders will Skate in Finals

*If there are 7 – 10 riders registered, top 5 will Go to Finals

*If there are 11 – 15 Riders Registered, top 7 will go to Finals

*If there are 16+ riders registered, top 10 will go to Finals
