The first Juice Magazine Surf Skate Collection art show showcased the current state of art featured on skateboards and surfboards, as well as skater/surfer created artwork and photography. The party went off October 21, 2010 at the Juice Magazine’s offices located smack dab in the middle of the creative vortex of Venice Beach, CA. The show was a featured event of the Venice Art Crawl, which does a fantastic job of showcasing artwork and artists in the multitude of galleries and art spaces of Venice. Attendees include skateboarding icons: Jake Brown, Ray Flores, Jeff Ho, Joe “Shmo” Ayala, Julian Martinez, Eric “Tuma” Britton, Bennett Harada, Theo Hand, Mark Zamudio of Anaheim Skateboards, David Wiley and Lauren Seagrave of the VSA, Willy Sions of Errand Boy fame, the Rogue Status/DTA crew, Cholo and the Scum Skates crew, Wes Mantooth, Matt Wise, Jason Landau, Danny Creadon of Factory 13 Skateboards, Taj Britton, the Arbor posse, and Johnny Abernathy (formerly known as Punker Johnny), Jordan Kidushim, Joe Jiminez, Kaycee Baker, Aaron Murray, Marissa Murray, Dez Murray and Jayce Murray. Good times.
