Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau

Took the time to watch Sam George’s latest project titled “Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau” and was blown away by the truism and integrity presented in the film. The film takes an intimate look at the Aikau family and what Eddie contributed to the North Shore. The footage from early contests and ripping sessions with legendary wave riders is mind blowing. I was left with an insatiable stoke to hit the water and deep appreciation of Eddie’s contribution to surfing.

The film will screen tomorrow at the Malibu Film Festival.
