Glen E. Friedman’s “My Rules” Book Signing
@ Arcana Books, Culver City, CA

Arcana Books in Culver City, California, which, in my humble opinion, is probably one of the coolest book stores I have ever been in, hosted a book signing that quickly turned into an interactive experience for all in attendance. Glen E. Friedman is not only known for his photo archives. He has also built a reputation for being voraciously opinionated in regards to his beliefs. While this night was not a fundraiser or a cause, the Vegan food and less-than-speakeasy-beverage-choices spoke on his behalf. That is, of course, until the impromptu Q & A session that followed the promotional film of behind the scenes stories of images in the book. Glen was asked a variety of questions ranging from why he has no Instagram account to why he does not continue to shoot music and skateboarding today. Glen, who always speaks profoundly, gave his perspective and shed some light onto his modern-day convictions and it was nothing short of epic. The store was filled with many of Glen’s subjects as well as fans and friends from all over the map. Friedman’s newest book, “My Rules,” is available now at fine book stores like Arcana and Book Soup and online at http://www.amazon.com/Glen-E-Friedman-My-Rules/dp/0847843556
