After months of anticipation, FYF Fest has finally unveiled the full schedule for FYF Fest 2014. Taking place August 23rd and 24th, the 11th annual FYF Fest will feature headlining performances from The Strokes and Phoenix, with additional performances from Interpol, HAIM,Slowdive, Flying Lotus, a newly reunited Blood Brothers playing their first show in eight years, Darkside, Blood Orange, Julian Casablancas, Jamie xx, Grimes, Built to Spill, Earl Sweatshirt, Four Tet, Little Dragon, Mac DeMarco, Caribou, Future Islands, Slint,Todd Terje (Live), Presidents of The United States of America, Against Me!, Real Estate, and many more. This year marks the first year that FYF Fest will be taking place at LA Sports Arena and Exposition Park in Downtown Los Angeles, hosting 40,000 patrons each day on the festival grounds. FYF Fest is currently sold out.
Gates for the festival will open at 2:00 p.m. and music will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Each day. The L.A. Metro will once again extend the hours of all their trains to 2:00 a.m. to accommodate the attendees of FYF Fest. Festivalgoers are strongly encouraged to ride Expo Line trains, exiting at Expo/Vermont for the closest station to the entrance. FYF will also be providing secure bike parking near the festival entrance on Vermont Ave & 39th Street.
Founded in 2003, FYF Fest began as a small, DIY festival at The Echo in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles and has since grown into one of the leading festival and concert promotions companies in Southern California. FYF hosts a diverse range of artists from varied genres, while promoting discovery and aiming to keep admission affordable.
