Florida Vert Series at Kona

The third stop of the Florida Vert Series is set for Oct 21-22, 2016 at Kona Skatepark – 8739 Kona Ave, Jacksonville, FL at the Kona vert ramp, which measures in at 78ft wide with 11ft transitions, 2ft vert, 14ft flat, 2 facing extensions and 1 extension has escalator. The ramp also features a 6ft channel with roll in.

On October 21st, there will be an open jam with the Concrete Criminals and Skatter Brainz set to play at 7PM during the open jam session Friday night. Lang Sheppard, the drummer for the Concrete Criminals, will be pulling his kick drum up to the coping to see who can do the biggest boneless off the drum.

Saturday October 22nd is the day of Florida Vert Series Stop #3 event. Open Practice will go down that morning and the contest will start at 12:00pm. Divisions: 12 & Under, 13 – 19, 20 – 39, 40 & 49, 50 & Up, Open. The After Party will commence once the awards are complete. Band line up: The Drop In’s, Concrete Criminals,  O’Hollerans, Warm Like Winter and The Pursuit of Liberty.

There is no cost to pre-register, the $10 entry will be collected day of event.
