CONS Project Workshop – Zine Making & Printing

Converse has been doing some amazing tutorials and interactive inspirational sessions through the CONS Project workshops. The next workshop is one close to our hearts as it concentrates on Zine Making & Printing. The CONS project hopes to inspire the next generation to tune into keeping the threads of the skate culture strong by participating with their own visions through timeless applications. CONS Project workshop – “Zine Making & Printing” will take place in New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Toronto on Feb 7 and Feb 14.  Registration is open now at: http://consproject.com

About “Zine Making & Printing”: Geared towards  aspiring designers, publishers, and creators between the ages of 13-24, “Zine Making & Printing” will provide a brief lesson in skate-zine history and culture, as well as teach participants the various methods of content creation, printing, and binding while collaborating on a brand new zine. Workshops will be led by acclaimed zine maker and publisher, Brian Paul Lamotte of Pau Wau Publications in New York and Toronto, and renowned zine maker and publisher, Andrew Martin Scott of popular arts space, Needles & Pens and bookshop, & Pens Press, and international photographer, Jai Tanju of print exchange program, Film Por Vida and art gallery and shop, Seeing Things Gallery in Los Angeles and Boston.  Renowned professional skaters – as well as CONS Skate Team members and friends of CONS alike – such as Eli ReedQuim Cardona, and Dan Drehobl, will also be on-hand to work with designers in each city.
