Col. Klink Returns to Venice For 1 Show Only!

The Made In Venice Movie After Party Show is on Aug 25th with the Venice All Stars (Mitchell Shaffer on guitar, David Botkin on drums, Masao Miyashiro on bass, Erik Arcane on lead guitar) with special guest: Ger-I Lewis. ‘Col. Klink returns to Venice for one show only’ at Danny’s, located at 23 Windward Ave, Venice, California, at 9:30pm.

Ger-I Lewis, a.k.a. Todd Gessel, was the driving force behind getting the Venice Skatepark built. He also served as a L.A. County Lifeguard for decades, as well as organized the Venice Surf-A-Thon, the Westside’s longest running surf contest. His accomplishments include being the founder of the Venice Surf and Skate Association, as well as singing in punk bands, Frontside Grind and Venice All Stars.

He is a multi-talented, multilingual, U.S. Army veteran who has served the nation in various capacities. He earned a B.A. from CSULA and a MSW from UCLA and is a member of the City of Refuge Mens Choir and has also written an incredible book called “Crashed Memories of A Punk Rocker”. Ger-I donates all proceeds from his art to MLD Christian Charity School in Mukas Mindanao and the Venice Surf-A-Thon. Ger-I is now a USFS wild lands fire fighter in Washington state.
