Press Release:
February 10th, 2014 (Nashville, TN) — Plowboy Records announces Two Headed Cheetah Tour featuring legendary punk rocker Cheetah Chrome and West Coast garage rock band Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs. Chrome is supporting his recently released 7-song EP titled, Solo. The CD includes cuts from a 1996 recording session produced by Genya Ravan (with executive producer Hilly Kristal) and from a Nashville session in 2010 featuring Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Lez Warner (The Cult), and Sean Koos (Joan Jett and The Blackhearts). The EP came out the same day as the CBGB movie, with Chrome being played by Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films) plus a cameo by Chrome himself.

A similar touring configuration comprised of Cheetah Chrome and Sweet Justice (featuring Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs members Frank Meyer and Bruce Duff) occurred in 2004 for a West Coast tour and headliner slot at a music festival in Spain.

Cheetah Chrome is performing at the Plowboy Records SXSW showcase on March 15th at The Saxon Pub with labelmates Buzz Cason, The Ghost Wolves, Paul Burch, The Fauntleroys (feat. Alejandro Escovedo, Nick Tremulis, Ivan Julian, Linda Pitmon), Chuck Mead and JD Wilkes & the Dirt Daubers (formerly of the Legendary Shack Shakers).
