BURTON PARTY

BURTON PARTY
LOS ANGELES, CA

The call comes in from Simonetti around 3 p.m. “Let’s go check the Burton store opening down the street. There should be a good session on the ramp. They’re building a spine on the roof.” We roll down there early to help Abe and the 4down crew finish the build. The ramp was perfect and the session was about to go down. The reason there are no skate photos of the session was I had to split out to the airport. When I got back, the session had already been shut down by the fire marshall, so you’ll have to enjoy the people photos below instead. A quick note about the store. Burton spent some serious cash on this location and it’s huge and well set up. The ramp is now gone due to some rumor that a celebrity showed up with their kid and the kid fell and a lawsuit was threatened so they took it down. Welcome to Hollywood, Burton.
