Please send a message to the NYC government regarding the Riverside and 108 Skatepark. Here are the correct addresses and persons to contact re: naming/improving/rebuilding the skatepark that has been designated at 108 and Riverside in NYC to be named for Andy Kessler. http://www.riversideparkfund.org/about/?c

Send ideas, bids, donations, requests for naming the park within 5 years of Andy’s passing, and your stories to Mr. John Herrold President of the RPF. He thinks it will cost $1,000,000, so it’s up to our friends to pitch simple ideas that are affordable. if concrete is the answer then let him know.

Green Light: Sk8108 w/ Save Riverside Skatepark fb Group and JUICE  MAG achieved all goals:

Opening Day: SATURDAY 11 MAY 2013 (as is 4 now) Hours: 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Open Thursday-Monday

YES: Riverside Park Conservancy WILL officially name it for Andy Kessler

“‘Andy Kessler Memorial Skatepark”, but exact name & date TBA

RULES: 18+ FULL PADS, UNDER 18 WRIST GUARDS & SIGN WAIVER

Find Duane. He is the man in charge over there, so ask for him and say “Hello.”

PLUS: Renovation approved. Our team Sk8108 is doing the job. Happens to be 8 people:  John O’Malley , Joe Rockman, Jacob Tillman, Ian Clarke, Irene Cheng, Ricky Mujica, Dan Habu and Stacy Fine all in NYC.

We’ll be fundraising a.s.a.p.: all proceeds go for materials, no pockets, no labor charge. This shit is out of devotion./S
