Brand new ‘crete just opened up in France with this skateable art piece designed and constructed by Korean artist Koo Jeong-A. Called Vassiviere Skatepark it is the first phosphorescent bowl around. It’s located smack dab in the middle of an open air museum built on an island in the middle of France. Check it out here. Our rad photographer friend, Fred Ferand, sent us photos of this glow-in-the-dark structure on opening day during the French Old School Skate Jam #7.

MORE ABOUT THE ART BEHIND THE BOWL
With its ovoid shape and the use of green phosphorescent concrete, OTRO is an artwork made of speed bumps, the cradle, hollows, bowls and tunnels. This work of Koo Jeong-A refers to both definitions of sculpture and representation: hollows and bumps, shadows and lights, soft or accentuated reliefs.
