Super extremeness was had by all who participated and spectated at this year’s X Games super park extravaganza. The legends showed the world what style and grace was all about while the younger guns were throwing themselves into the future of extremeness with big transfers and technical wizardry. The X Games have become a big spectacle and for some a launch pad for big ad campaigns like the double pits to chesty commercials by Sheckler. At the core level, if you take away all of the tinsel town illusions and fanfare the skateboarding was amazing. Thanks to ESPN for keeping skateboarding in the eyes of the masses.
